Email Application Checklist
1. Passport:
The passport must be signed and it should have a minimum of nine months validity and two blank pages.
2. Photograph:
Two passport sized photographs with white background. Please make sure that the photograph is not older than six months.
4. UK Company Letter (Proof of Occupation):
The applicant should submit a letter from his or her UK company. The letter should be written in the company’s official letterhead. It should cover all important details about the applicant that include his or her employment status and position held in the company.
5. Address Proof:
As a Proof of Address, the applicant must provide, water, gas or electricity bill, Council Tax letter, UK Driving License, Bank Statement, Child Tax Credit or Child Benefit Letter (for minor applicants).
6. Travel proofs:
Proof of onward and return tickets should be submitted. This itinerary should detail the applicant’s name, duration of the trip, dates of entry and exit from Angola, and the places to be visited.
7. Accommodation details:
Details of confirmed hotel room reservation should be provided. The reservation proof should carry details that include name of the applicant and the duration of stay.
8. Invitation Letter:
An invitation letter issued by the Angolan company or person should be submitted. This letter should be written in Portuguese. The letter must contain the details of the inviting company or person and must provide details such as the reason for the visit, accommodation confirmation, and information about the applicant, including, name, nationality, birth date, birth place, passport number and expiry date, occupation, and the name of the employer.
9. Certificate of Yellow Fever Vaccination:
The applicant is required to submit a copy of the International Certificate of Vaccination (ICV) for yellow fever.
10. Livelihood Proof:
The proof of livelihood must be equal in value to 200 USD, per day of the trip. The applicant can submit the bank statement as the livelihood proof.
Note: Original and one copy of each document must be submitted by the applicant.
First-time invitations from companies in Angola are required to provide the commercial license, tax receipt, company registration and publication of the registered company in the "Diário da República". Original and one copy of each document must be submitted by the applicant.
