Email Application Checklist
1. Passport:
The passport must be signed and it should have a minimum of six months validity and two blank pages.
2. Photograph: A passport sized photograph with a light background, taken within the last two weeks. In the photograph, the applicant should make sure that he or she is maintaining a neutral facial expression.
3. Visa application form:
All applicants are required to fill the visa application forms online on the embassy system. However a small mistake can lead to you visa being rejected. Hence, complete our online questionnaire from section D below and we will email you a completed embassy visa application form, ready for you to sign. 4. UK Company Letter:
A letter from your UK employer should be submitted. The letter should be written on the company’s letterhead, and it should cover details like purpose and nature of the trip. This letter from the UK employer should also assure the complete financial responsibility of the traveler. This letter should be addressed to the High Commission of Nigeria.
5. Invitation letter:
An invitation letter from the host company in Nigeria should be submitted. The letter should explain the purpose of the trip, planned travel dates, and should also guarantee full immigration responsibility of the traveler.
6. Self-employed applicant’s letter:
If the applicant is self-employed, it is necessary to submit a letter addressed to ‘High Commission of Nigeria, 9 Northumberland Avenue, Westminster, London WC2N 5BX’, describing the nature and purpose of the visit.
7. Applicant’s previous passports:
The applicant should submit all previous passports. If any previous passports are missing, the applicant should write a letter addressed to ‘High Commission of Nigeria, 9 Northumberland Avenue, Westminster, London WC2N 5BX’. This letter should explain why the applicant is unable to submit the previous passports.
