UK citizens can apply for a visa online before travelling to the country. This is a 100% online process which you can utilize from any place in the world and where you can obtain an e-visa after you complete the application form, submit the documents, and pay the visa fees. Once the visa is confirmed, you shall get your e-visa via mail. You simply need to take a printout and present it to the immigration authorities at your port of entry. It is the easiest process and you must consider if you are not opting for the visa on arrival facility.
Yes, it arrives with a validity of 90 days from the date of issue. You must use this visa to enter Zimbabwe within 90 days. You get e-visas in both single entry and double entry, with each type allowing a maximum stay of 90 days in total. This means that even though the double entry e-visa allows you to enter-exit the country twice, your combined stay for the two visits cannot exceed 90 days.
Generally, it is not possible to change any details after the e-visa is issued. You can, however, contact our support team if you do notice a mistake and we shall try our best to sort out the issue.
The validity period on your visa starts with your previously stated date of arrival, which you had mentioned on your application. However, it is not necessary that you enter Zimbabwe only on that specific date. If your travel plans change, you can arrive in the country anytime before the expiration date. But do remember to plan accordingly so that you don’t extend the mentioned quota of 90 days.
In order to avoid any complications or delays, we would advise you to apply for an e-visa at least 3 weeks before your planned arrival in the country
